Where are you aiming?
Where do you wanna go?
Water is instinct
Changing...
Changing...
Changing...
Changing...
Changing everything
Changing everything
Changing everything
Us too...us too
So where do you wanna go?
Where are you aiming?
Where do you wanna go?
See how we ride these waves
Wave after wave rising
Riders of the waves
Riders of the waves
We are so rich
and the richness has nothing to do with money
The richness is us-us-us-us
The richness is us
We are all water in the same Ocean
We are all water in the same Ocean
So where do you wanna go?
We are all waters in the same Ocean
Water Dialogue is a sound piece made by Felicia Konrad, David Carlsson, Mats Persson, Tina Quartey for exhibition at Tomelilla Art Hall, Sweden 8/9-4/11 2018, as a part of the exhibition Amniotic Fluid by the intuitive art project I Still Live In Water. It is a piece beginning with the Swedish percussion pioneer Tina Quartey improvising in water; What's Beneath the Surface? "Water Is Instinct" is starting with running water sounds from a tap in a kitchen, then David Carlsson' smooth and jazzy bass draws the musical lines, and Felicia Konrad adds with poetic vocals and lyrics, and Mats Persson fills in with exquisite electronic sounds and discrete sound design. In Invocation, Tina Quartey experiments with a gong in water and plays with the resonance in a suggestive meditative way. The last piece Water Dialogue is 5 dialogues and an Epilogue, lyrics and vocals by Felicia Konrad and with glimmering electronica and sound design Mats Persson. The whole Water Dialouges piece is created in a very direct way and is full of improvisation.

The Art Intendant Desirée Lennklo at Tomelilla Arthall, Sweden. "During the exhibition period, many of our visitors took part of Water Dialogues. It was installed in an almost dark room in the lower part of the art hall. In the room, there was sitting possibilities and the sound piece was experienced by help from audioguides and headphones. The sound piece seemed to stimulate stillness and reflection. Often when we in the staff were crossing the room you met visitors sitting and half laying in sacosacs, apparently encapsulated in the sound piece. And in themselves. The sound piece appealed to both children and adults, and these moments of stillness and soulful presence as the piece offered gave the visitors a very strong experience.
-Tomelilla Arthall found that the sound piece was very appreciated and that it gave a deepening understanding, not only in the understanding of our relationship to water but also and maybe the most important, our relation to ourselves, our origin and our future."
"PERSONAL REVIEWS"
"Very associative and visual. The ASMR feeling in the mix with bass and vocal in Water is instinct really works great. There is a calmness, stillness, and naturalness in the whole piece that makes it very exciting and the work with the sound, and its effects are impressive. Super great work!!! "
"Very special. Incredibly well integrated at many levels - the sound, the listening, the musical, the storytelling with the sound/the basic/elementary and the personal story.
And BEAUTIFUL! -I especially like the sounds of water and the honesty in the vocal. Really good recordings and very well produced."
